  • Nice to hear McCartney once again!!

For those of us approaching 70 or over, you will thoroughly enjoy this. Don’t understand why he left it on the shelf for so long. A period when McCartney still can raise the bar!
  • Am I Dreaming …?

But a few of the songs sound like their playing way too fast. Anyone else notice that or have I lost my mind? I think I’m correct though. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

This is a great fun recording. Buy it just for Blue Moon of Kentucky. I thought he was just sending it up at first, but dang, did it get rolling. Even though I knew he was capable of sounding like that, it's still a shock/joy to actually hear it. This version of Wings was one tight sounding band, and could do pretty much anything, like their tin pan alley version of Baby Face. It's a nice loud rocking album that people who hate McCartney will claim he can't do, even though he literally does it all over this album. He'll annoy the Pundit Class with this, but they can Get Mad, Stay Mad.
  • Glad this is finally available!

This isn't a masterpiece or anything, but I find it thoroughly enjoyable. I first heard some of these tracks on the 2010 Deluxe edition of Band on the Run, but those tracks felt out of place, even as bonus material. But these songs are much better when heard as part of a greater whole. If you're not interested in Wings, you probably won't care for this album. Casual listeners should stick with the better-known albums like Band on the Run, Venus and Mars, or Wings Over America. This is a ramshakle, ragged set of performances that are not overly produced. Who is the right audience for this album? I think it's really for the fans. I really enjoyed everything here, even if these versions don't meausre up to their studio counterparts. These songs have a life and energy to them that I find fun!

Paul and the band were riding high with ‘Band On The Run’ setting in the #1 position when these rehearsals took place. You can feel the confidence and enthusiasm in these wonderful recordings, and Paul’s voice is amazing. A must have for any Wings fan!
  • Always a treat!

To hear these songs done in a recording sessions style adds to how great wings as a band really was. They had a sound that was light, upbeat and very special!
